Thammaya Pun, National Outstanding Teacher awardee completed B.A / B.Ed from Prithvi Narayan Campus, Pokhara. She has completed her studies till now and is currently teaching at Sri Paudwar Secondary School. She has been teaching social/economics subjects for the past 30 years. She has won multiple awards till now. Thammaya Pun takes pride in her accomplishments and expresses gratitude to her late mother for being the guiding force behind her success.
Saroj Kumar Pandey, Awardee Province 3, “PP Prasai Excellence in Education Award” for teachers 2018, is a teacher of 7 subjects and a school principal. Saroj Kumar Pandey has been in the education sector as a principal, head teacher and superintendent for more than 30 years. He is a Master’s degree holder in Education and is currently the principal of Tilingatar Secondary School, Dhapasi, Kathmandu. He teaches Economics, Accountancy, and Social Studies at the secondary level and Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, and Psychology to the Higher secondary level. Saroj Kumar finds happiness in the success of his children. About the school: Tilingatar Secondary School Located in Tokha Municipality-7, Dhapasi, Kathmandu, was first established as Panchakanya Primary School in 2019 B.S. with the vision to provide technology-focused services that increase productivity and enhance computing experiences. It is a Non-profit organization constantly providing quality education at a community level. There are nearly 1700 students studying in TSS and it offers kindergarten to 10+2.
Purna Bahadur Dangi, Awardee-Province 6, “PP Prasai Excellence in Education Award” for teachers, 2018, is a teacher. Purna Bahadur Dangi was born in Juphal, he did Master’s in Education from Bahumukhi campus. Purna Bahadur Dangi has been in the teaching field for over 30 years and is currently teaching social studies in Adarsha Secondary School. Purna advocates the importance of being sincere rather than being the best.
Kiran Poudel Acharya, Awardee-Province 5, “PP Prasai Excellence in Education Award” for teachers, 2018, is a teacher and principal. She has been teaching for more than 34 years. She did her M.A. at Mahila Post Graduate College, Bahraich, India. Kiran Poudel Acharya teaches English in Dhambojhi Secondary School.
Geeta Ojha Awardee for “PP Prasai Excellence in Education Award” for Teachers, 2018 is a subject teacher at Adarsha Secondary School. Geeta Ojha was born in Mechinagar Jhapa on October 8, 2020, she completed her studies from Higher Education Secondary Council up to I.Ed. She has been involved in the teaching profession for 33 years. Geeta Ojha believes that teamwork makes the dream work.
Birendra Kumar Singh, Awardee Province-2, “PP Prasai Excellence in Education Award” for teachers, 2018 has been teaching for more than 14 years. He holds a Master’s degree in Education from Tribhuvan University and is currently teaching at Shree Janata Secondary School, Siraha. She has been teaching English and Political Science. Birendra Kumar Singh says witnessing the success and well-being of his students makes him feel accomplished.
Balram Bhandari, Awardee-Province 4, “PP Prasai Excellence in Education Award” for teachers, 2018, is a teacher who believes that school is a social cosmology. He has been in the teaching sector for more than 24 years. Balram Bhandari did his postgraduate in education from Sapta Gandaki Bahumukhi Campus. Balram Bhandari believes in the holistic development of his students by incorporating the wonders of nature into learning experiences.
